The PPH Foundation, through the ROAMING blood acquisition scheme, mobilized students from universities and medical training colleges in Nairobi, Kiambu, Mombasa, Uasin Gishu and Kakamega counties to become regular voluntary blood donors. The students constituted nearly 50% of the donors during the pilot phase.
