CREATING PAN AFRICAN MOVEMENT TO COMBAT POSTPARTUM HEMORRHAGE: ZAGO HOLDS ANOTHER SOLIDARITY EVENT.

Activity Description

At the instigation of the EPPH initiative, the Zambian Association of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians (ZAGO) held a major solidarity event on November 30, 2025, to advocate for the ending of PPH. Hundreds of ZAGO members gathered together and marched in the streets, chanting anti-PPH slogans. This was a follow-up of the PPH Run held on 28th September 2025 in five African countries. This indicates that the movement has gained momentum and will likely continue to spread to other African countries.
