STIMULATING MORE AFRICAN COUNTRIES TO JOIN THE FIGHT AGAINST POSTPARTUM HEMORRHAGE

Activity Description

On November 30, 2025, the EPPH-initiative project lead Prof Moses Obimbo deliberately made contacts with teams in Botswana, Zimbabwe, Cameroon, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Congo and Malawi. He encouraged the Gynaecologists and Obstetricians, as well as other stakeholders, to join the fight against PPH. Leaders from these countries pledged to join the movement and actively participate in the anti-PPH events in 2026 and beyond. This now brings the African countries subscribed to the EPPH movement to 12, representing Eastern, Central, Western and Southern Africa.
