ENHANCING PARTNERSHIPS FOR ROAMING ACQUISITION SCHEME

Activity Description

The EPPH-i, through its project lead Prof Moses Obimbo, has continued to seek new and strengthen existing partnerships for its ROAMING Blood Acquisition Scheme. EPPH-i is intentionally reaching out to Kenya Red Cross Society, KBTTS, the Ministry of Health, Eldon Biologicals A/S, International organizations, local civil society organizations,  healthcare providing facilities, and media houses to explore ways of scaling the initiative. EPPH-i and its collaborators partnered with KBTTS, Kenya Red Cross Society, Eldon Biologicals and Medical Professional Associations to mount a successful pilot Blood Drive in September – October, 2025, in over twelve locations in six counties. In 2026, outreach is targeting over 10 counties and over 2000 units of blood and 5000 donors
