ADVANCING POSTPARTUM HAEMORRHAGE DIALOGUE THROUGH NATIONAL MEDIA: INTEGRATING PPH WITH OTHER WOMENS’ HEALTH CONCERNS

Activity Description

In January 2026, the End Postpartum Haemorrhage Initiative amplified maternal health advocacy through targeted media engagement across print, radio, and television. Prof Moses Obimbo, Project Lead, was interviewed by The Star newspaper, highlighting the link between cervical cancer, delayed care, and increased PPH risk. Dr Kireki Omanwa, KOGS President and End PPH Co-Lead, featured on Citizen Radio in four episodes of Dokezo La Afya. The same discussion aired on Citizen TV and NTV through live panel engagements on 28 January 2026, extending evidence-based messaging to national audiences and strengthening public understanding of preventable maternal risks.
