The PPH Project is dedicated to tackling the global issue of postpartum hemorrhage, a leading cause of maternal mortality and morbidity.
The PPH Foundation held a strategic meeting with Drop Access at Viken Thirty Industrial Park on 17th February, 2026 to explore a strategic partnership aimed at combating postpartum hemorrhage by enhancing cold chain capacity for the blood initiatives. Prof Julius Ogeng’o focused on the potential integration of Drop Access’s IoT-enabled portable solar fridge which presents a potential for use during the ROAMING Blood Drive and storage of temperature sensitive drugs used in the management of PPH. This engagement reflects our deliberate effort to onboard partners who strengthen systems and safeguard the blood supply that saves mothers’ lives.
