TRAINING OF 3RD COHORT OF EPPH CHAMPIONS

Activity Description

The EPPH-i undertook training of the 3rd cohort of EPPH champions at NATIL House, Westlands Nairobi on July 24, 2025. The cohort comprised 40 individuals from Kenya Medical Training Colleges, Kenyatta University Nursing School and Media personalities. The training was undertaken by EPPH-i project lead Prof Obimbo and co-leads Prof Ogeng’o, Drs Kireki Omanwa and Eunice Atsali. The training was designed to enhance participants’ understanding of postpartum hemorrhage from an advocacy perspective. It covered the burden, clinical presentation, management of, and neglected factors in PPH, as well as ways of effective advocacy.
