The PPH Project is dedicated to tackling the global issue of postpartum hemorrhage, a leading cause of maternal mortality and morbidity.
The EPPH-i led by Prof Moses Obimbo continues with active mobilization of stakeholders in the fight against PPH. On July 24, 2025, the project leadership held a capacity building meeting with stakeholders from Kenyatta University, Kenya Medical Training College and the media fraternity. The meeting was held at NATIL House, Westlands Nairobi. Kenyatta University was represented by over ten pre-service midwifery nurses. KMTC was represented by nearly 20 pre-service obstetric nurses, while the media was represented by luminary champions of traditional and social media like Mashirima Kapombe, Kambua Manundu, Nana Owiti, DJ Soxxy, Femi One, and Crazy Kennar. The over 40 representatives present committed to support the End PPH advocacy movement; to mobilize participants and take part in the PPH Run,2025 scheduled for 28th September, 2025
