BUILDING STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH “Better 4 Kenya” IN THE FIGHT AGAINST POSTPARTUM HEMORRHAGE

Activity Description

The EPPH-i has successfully forged effective partnership with Better 4 Kenya to jointly fight postpartum hemorrhage. Better 4 Kenya is a not for profit movement that coordinates advocacy activities against violation of women’s rights. It is championed by organizations like Kenya Female Advisory Organization, Together for Better Foundation, UN Women, and National Gender and Equality Commission, and it emphasizes that when women are empowered, it benefits all of Kenya by unlocking potential and driving economic growth. Better 4 Kenya will support the EPPH-i through mobilization of social media champions to amplify the voices against postpartum hemorrhage and mobilization of participants for the PPH Run, 2025. In the first activity, Better 4 Kenya sponsored training of Media, KMTC and Kenyatta University Pre-service Nurses. Ms Ashley Diana Odhiambo, the Better 4 Kenya Director of Gender Equality and Women’s Health   facilitated one of the sessions by delivering a powerful presentation on “Values and Principles of Story Telling.”
