FIGHTING POSTPARTUM HEMORRHAGE BY PUBLICIZING LIVED-EXPERIENCES

Activity Description

The EPPH-I has embarked on publicizing Postpartum hemorrhage   by causing people with lived experience to speak publicly in the media. During a television interview on 15th June, 2025; Ms Mariana Mutwiri of MEDS, and a PPH survivor narrated her experience of PPH. In another TV interview, Mr Victor Ambula , a widower of  a PPH victim narrated his experience. In print media, Dr Eunice Atsali, the Secretary General of Midwives Association of Kenya (MAK), EPPH-I project co-lead and PPH survivor publicized her experience in the STANDARD newspaper on 5th July, 2025.
