The PPH Project is dedicated to tackling the global issue of postpartum hemorrhage, a leading cause of maternal mortality and morbidity.
Knowledge and information on Postpartum hemorrhage should be language neutral. To enhance its reach and uptake, two of the EPPH-I project co-leads, Drs Kireki Omanwa and Eunice Atsali went to KTN Television on 2nd July, 2025 to discuss “KUVUJA DAMU BAADA YA KUJIFUNGUA” in KISWAHILI. During the interview, the specialists lucidly explained the causes, risk factors, presentation, treatment and prevention of PPH. They also answered questions real-time from viewers, as PPH survivors from various parts of the country narrated their experiences.
