Gearing for PPH Run, 2025

Activity Description

The PPH Foundation, University of Nairobi, Kenya Obstetrical and Gynecological Society; and Midwives Association of Kenya convened on 25th January, 2025 with multi-sectoral stakeholder team to set the stage for the PPH Run, 2025. The meeting held at Pan Pacific Suites in Nairobi, brought together WHO, UNICEF, Programme for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH); Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK); Kenya Red Cross Society KRCs), Aga Khan University; LWALA Community Alliance, Kenya Clinical Officers Association (KCOA), World Bank, Eldon Biologicals Kenya, GlenMark Pharma to review lessons learned from the PPH, 2024 and discuss ways of scaling the PPH Run to higher levels in Kenya and Africa in general. The meeting resolved to on-board more stakeholders and partners, mobilize participants and resource early, and engage more stakeholders in planning.
