The PPH Project is dedicated to tackling the global issue of postpartum hemorrhage, a leading cause of maternal mortality and morbidity.
The EPPH-i, as part of its robust advocacy campaign, is amplifying the magnitude of PPH in order for it to attract the necessary attention and gain appropriate attention towards its prevention. The EPPH-i project lead Prof Moses Obimbo, in the story by Maryann Muganda entitled “Deadlier than crashes: Bleeding Crisis Haunting Delivery Rooms” in the STANDARD on August 4,2925 highlights the burden, medical drivers and systemic failures; but also narrates the interventions that can be instituted to prevent PPH in Kenya.
