More Stakeholders Join the Fight Against PPH

Activity Description

The stakeholder base for the fight against PPH with the flagship advocacy annual PPH Run has expanded to include hitherto silent stakeholders. These include the following:

  1. Akina Mama Wa Afrika: a Pan African feminist leadership development organization
  2. Wanahabari Centre: a local media development organization seeking to empower journalists to informatively tell stories
  3. JIJI Health/Damu Sasa: a health-tech company focused on revolutionizing healthcare delivery in Africa.
  4. LWALA Community Alliance: a Kenyan-led organization rooted in the communities supporting mothers at every step through pregnancy, childbirth and years of motherhood
  5. Hope for Kenya Slum Adolescents Initiative (HKSAI): A Kenyan initiative that works to advance opportunities for low-income adolescent girls living in slums through investments in their education, health, skills training, life skills and job prospects. The additional stakeholders were on-boarded during the 4th EPPH stakeholders meeting held at Pan Pacific Suits in Nairobi on 25th April, 2025.
